Duct Cleaning

Contaminants such as dust, mould spores, and microbial growth accumulate in ductwork over time - especially in confined marine environments - compromising both indoor air quality and HVAC system performance. Our specialised air duct cleaning service removes build-up pollutants to restore efficient airflow, reduce health risks, and support compliance with maritime air hygiene standards.

Air Handler Cleaning

Disassembling of fan-coil units and fresh air make-up units allows us to clean, sanitize, and service all interior surfaces and components of the units, including cooling coils, fans, drip-trays, filter retainers, dehumidifier grills, etc. Mould is also removed from any insulated surfaces, electrical cables and sensors. Any surface corrosion is treated with an appropriate anti-corrosive paint.

Galley Extract System Cleaning

Accumulation of liquid and solidified grease inside galley hood extraction ducting and on the extract fan poses a serious fire and hygiene risk on board a yacht. Using a combination of various cleaning methods, including the LIFA Air mechanical cleaning system, we can effectively remove grease deposits throughout the length of the extraction system, including hard-to access bends, vertical risers, and fire dampers. This service ensures compliance with maritime safety standards, removing a potential fire risk and restoring optimal airflow through the galley hood extract system.

Laundry Dryer Extract Cleaning

A dryer extract duct clogged with dust and fluff does not allow the dryer to exhaust hot air efficiently. An overheated dryer can then ignite the fuse of combustible fibres within the extract duct. The laundry dryer extract ducting is cleaned by electrical rotary brushing and all dislodged debris is collected in a filtered vacuum collection machine. Any associated fans are disassembled and manually cleaned.
